Blair Tikker
Mr. Blair Tikker has participated in Denver health care for nearly 20 years, commencing at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center as a financial analyst in the early 1980s, through his current position as CEO of Sloans Lake Managed Care. He has worked for hospital systems, physician groups and managed care companies. After six years at Porter Memorial Hospital in the finance department, Mr. Tikker left to work with Eric Sipf at Comprecare, now PacifiCare. Originally a vice-president, Mr. Tikker became CEO of Columbine Medical Group in 1987. He then returned to the Rocky Mountain Adventist Healthcare system where he remained for five years. He left as president of Porter/Littleton Hospitals in 1994. In 1995, he was named the CEO of Sloans Lake Managed Care until Centura Health purchased the company in August of 1997. In 1997, Mr. Tikker formed the PhyLink Group with partners Rick Hale and Jeff Eitel to manage and consult for physician groups. On March 1, 2001, Mr. Tikker along with several others including Mr. Hale and Mr. Eitel, acquired Sloans Lake Managed Care from Centura Health. Mr. Tikker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California.
